Abraham Holland was a PhD student affiliate with EPoD until 2019. His research interests are in development economics, public economics, and applied econometrics.  At EPoD, his research focused on how to improve public service provision in developing countries and the consequences of service delivery failures on households and small businesses. 

Before coming to Harvard, worked with the India-based Center for Microfinance on a range of financial inclusion impact evaluations. He also worked with Bridgewater Associates, a hedge fund in Connecticut, and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. Abraham received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and graduated summa cum laude in economics and Chinese literature.  Today, he is a researcher at the Institute for Defense Analysis in Washington, D.C.
