Rabat, Morocco and via live stream.
The Morocco Employment Lab (MEL), led by J-PAL and Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) at the Harvard Kennedy School, in partnership with the Millennium Challenge Account Morocco Agency, and hosted at the Policy Center for the New South, organized an evidence sharing seminar on youth economic inclusion. The event was held in collaboration with MCA-Morocco, the National Labor Market Observatory, the Policy Center for the New South and the World Bank Group team in Morocco.
The seminar focused on youth economic inclusion, including three panel discussions led by senior policymakers, academics, and MEL staff covering:
Youth skills and training
Job search assistance and transition into the labor market
Job creation — Public works, wage subsidies and entrepreneurship
Each panel discussion presented evidence on priority topics and discuss plans for future experimentations and evaluations to run in Morocco.
