Person Description

Siew Ng is a Research Fellow working with Professor Asim Khwaja. Siew completed the Master in Public Administration in International Development program at Harvard Kennedy School. She has 5 years of work experience with Axiata, a telecommunications conglomerate, and has worked across Axiata’s South Asia and Southeast Asia footprint, focusing on using analytics in audit, finance, and fraud prevention as well as digital micro-financing, loan securitization, and digital banking. At HKS, Siew served as a Teaching Fellow for the UNCDF Migrant Remittances and Financial Services program and for the 2 macroeconomics courses. Siew aims to work in the intersection of technology and policy by using data analytics to address pressing development issues. Siew holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
