Gerrit Quaremba is a Research Fellow working with Professor Asim Khwaja. Before joining EPoD, he worked as a research assistant in Durham and Cologne, focusing on research projects related to legislative quality and media bias. Gerrit's research interests include causal inference and natural language processing, with the aim of applying data science tools in the social sciences. Substantively, he concentrates on political economy and political communication. Gerrit holds an MSc in Applied Social Data Science from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics from the University of Cologne
