Person Description

Arqam Lodhi is currently the Pakistan Country Manager for Building the Capacity to Use Research Evidence (BCURE) at The Center for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP). He previously worked as a Research Fellow and a Research Associate at EPoD. Before joining EPoD, he worked as a Program Manager for DFID-funded Punjab Economic Opportunities Program at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan. In addition to working for a short while with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in the Philippines and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), he has worked extensively with the Government in Pakistan, specifically in disaster relief programs and with Departments of Agriculture and Health of the provincial government of Punjab. This work involved province-wide business process re-engineering within these departments to facilitate the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning systems aimed at increasing procurement and supply chain efficiency.

Arqam is also the J. William Fulbright International Fellow at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, pursuing a graduate degree in microeconomic development and public and non-profit management. He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
