Active Engagement

Through our work and active engagement with partners, we hope to help build a community of practice that brings together these stakeholders and enables connections between researchers, policymakers, and private-sector practitioners. The aim is to develop the education research infrastructure in Pakistan and catalyze the research-to-policy process. We also engage actively with government, particularly with the Punjab School Education Department and multiple sub-departments within it.

A Graduate School of Education

We are actively supporting the establishment of the new graduate School of Education (SoE) at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), that Dr. Tahir Andrabi – one of our lead investigators – in leading. SoE aims to produce graduates who will be ready to become strategic leaders, policy researchers and reflective practitioners, helping to shape a reimagined and vibrant education ecosystem in Pakistan.

Ednovate Pakistan

In July 2017, our team at CERP (Center for Economic Research in Pakistan) and the LUMS School of Education jointly hosted EdNovate, an intersectional conference that brought together policymakers, educationalists, economic researchers, and donors to foster dialogue on innovation in education and discuss the value of evidence-based decision making in the education sector.
