Person Description
Yuan Pei is a PhD Candidate in Public Policy at Harvard. Yuan uses randomized controlled trials to study questions in development, behavioral, and labor economics. In one line of his research, he examines the role of behavioral biases in education and labor market decisions made by people in a low-resource environment. In other work, he studies how mental health services and manager incentives can affect employee burnout and performance in the workplace. Prior to his PhD Yuan worked for two years at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a BA in Economics at UC Berkeley
