Wendy is a postdoctoral scholar at Michael Kremer's Development Innovation Lab (DIL) at the University of Chicago. Wendy has a background in personnel and organizational economics, and development. Her research focuses on how policies can be designed to improve motivation and welfare in programs addressing poverty and inequality. At DIL, Wendy primarily works on projects in education, including projects in standardized education and ed tech. She also works on projects in health, including improving vaccine delivery in Kenya; and projects focusing on the role of the private sector in development.
