Susanna Berkouwer worked with Professors Rohini Pande, Rema Hanna and Michael Greenstone as a Research Fellow. Beginning in 2014, she will be pursuing a PhD at the University of California, Berkeley. She holds an MA International and Development Economics from Yale University and a BSc Statistics with Economics from University College London. At Yale, Susanna also worked as a research assistant with Innovations for Poverty Action and as a teaching fellow for courses in poverty alleviation and natural resource economics. She also worked in Egypt, South Africa, Kenya and the UK before joining EPoD. Susanna is particularly interested in issues in development economics, environmental economics, and political economy.
