Sarah Winton was a Research Fellow working with Professor Rohini Pande on projects related to financial inclusion in India and the role of governance in combatting poverty. Before joining EPoD, Sarah completed a Fulbright research grant in Jordan to collect primary data and model remittance behavior among Jordanian expatriates residing in Gulf Countries. She also designed a Proxy Means Testing model to assess the welfare of Syrian refugees for UNHCR for use in its targeting of cash assistance. Sarah holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Economics and International Relations.
