Rafael Proença was a Research Fellow at EPoD working with Professor Anders Jensen on public finance in developing countries. Prior to joining EPoD, Rafael was a Masters of Public Administration - International Development student at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he focused on public finance and government effectiveness. He also worked as a Junior Professional Associate (JPA) and research associate in the World Bank, in DC and Brasilia, on topics ranging from the impacts of Conditional Cash Transfer programs and wage inequality to labor markets and trade in Latin America. He holds a B.Sc. in Molecular Sciences and Masters in Economics from the University of Sao Paulo.
