Pedro Carneiro is a Professor in the department of economics at University College London, a research economist at the Centre of Microdata Methods and Practice, and a research fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. Carneiro is a labor economist working on the determinants and consequences of skill formation, in developed and developing countries. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, where he was supervised by James Heckman.
