Person Description
Jiahua (Jacob) Liu is a PhD Candidate in Public Policy at Harvard University. His research interests include international trade and industrial organization, particularly in developing countries. He is currently studying the relationship between export competition and Chinese exporters' innovation incentives. He is also examining the impact of domestic protectionism on China's export competitiveness. In other work he is studying the impact of access to natural resources on the growth of small and medium firms in India. Jiahua holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics from University of Virginia.
