Inmaculada Macias-Alonso is a joint postdoctoral fellow with the Center for International Development’s Evidence for Policy Design, the Women and Public Policy Program, and the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. She works with Dr. Alessandra González on a project examining mentorship, entrepreneurship, and labor market opportunity in Saudi Arabia. Her research focuses on the effects of gender on labor market access and outcomes.

She holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from IE Business School, an MA in Area Studies: Asia and the Middle East from Leiden University, a BA in Political Science from UNED, and a BA in Middle Eastern & Arabic Studies from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.
