Ilf Bencheikh is the Director of Training, Finance, and Operations at J-PAL Europe, hosted by the Paris School of Economics. Having led the office’s in-person and online training activities since joining J-PAL Europe in 2011, he has organized more than twenty courses in twelve European and African countries, in English and in French. Ilf also heads the Finance and Operations vertical at J-PAL Europe, which includes establishing new partnerships, financial management, and interacting with the Paris School of Economics on administrative and human resources topics. Ilf joined J-PAL after ten years of work experience in various countries (Lebanon, Vietnam, Cambodia, Romania, Portugal) in different types of institutions (French Cooperation, French-speaking Universities Agency, and the private sector).

Ilf holds a master's degree in political studies from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris as well as a master's degree in international cooperation and development issues from Université Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
