Emma Clarke-Deelder is a PhD candidate in Population Health Sciences with a concentration in Global Health and Population. Her research focuses on informing the design of policies and programs that improve access to high quality health services among underserved populations. Her current projects include an evaluation of an immunization outreach program in India, and a study of quality of care for postpartum hemorrhage in Kenya.
Before starting her PhD, Emma worked with Laterite in Rwanda and with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, in Switzerland. She holds a BA in Government from Cornell and an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge.
