Person Description
Arielle Bernhardt is a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at Harvard. Arielle was a Research Fellow at EPoD with Professor Rohini Pande. Her projects included a study of the impact of individual bank accounts on female empowerment and a study of the long-run effects of microfinance contract design on female entrepreneurship. Prior to joining EPoD, Arielle spent two years in Manila, Philippines with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), managing an impact evaluation of credit for small and medium-sized enterprises. Arielle holds a B.A. in Economics and Anthropology from Swarthmore College.
