Person Description

Amelia Knudson supports Evidence for Policy Design's (EPoD) training deployments and related research. For the Building Capacity to Use Evidence program, Amelia supports instructors and institutional partners in delivering evidence use trainings for policymakers in India, Pakistan, Morocco, and leads new curriculum development. In research, Amelia works with EPoD affiliated researchers to study training effectiveness and helps conduct pilot studies, needs assessments, interviews, and other activities.

Amelia has worked previously as an associate for an international development research organization in Myanmar, where she liaised with UN agencies and NGO clients on research projects spanning a range of topics. Amelia also has experience working in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Colombia on financial inclusion and capacity building projects. Amelia completed the MPA-DP program at Columbia’s SIPA, and holds her bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from Harvard (’13).
