Alia Braley is the Faculty and Program Assistant for Professor Asim Khwaja, co-director of Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD). Her work includes supporting Professor Khwaja in his faculty role as well as supporting his broad portfolio of research initiatives based in Pakistan. Alia joins EPoD after two years working as the Director of Programs at the Albert Einstein Institution, an organization that works to promote the study and strategic use of nonviolent action in conflict situations worldwide. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard University where her thesis addressed the strategic potential of a grassroots nonviolent response to ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
