Abbas El Akari is a research associate at the Morocco employment lab, he works on implementing a randomized evaluation of demand driven job trainings and on the job support programs in Morocco.

Abbas holds a master degree in economic policy analysis from the Aix-Marseille school of economics, he had previously worked as an intern at different think tanks, such as ZEW in Germany working on regional favoritism and development and PCNS in Morocco developing automated Stata program to output international competiveness index for the phosphate industry, along with a four month internship at the WTO collaborating on the World Bank joint database I-TIP services.
