Prachi is working as a Research Consultant for a livelihoods project in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural development. Her work entails imparting training to state officials across three states with respect to the technology intervention that the study has developed in-house. It also involves surveying the officers and co-ordination with local partners. Having finished her undergrad studies in Economics from St. Xavier’s college in Mumbai she went on to work as a Legislative Aide to a Member of Parliament. Furthermore she worked as a Research Associate at a CSR consulting firm in Mumbai where she was involved in designing research tools, data analysis and impact evaluation for CSR programs. She was also involved in conducting a Child Rights Situational analysis in the state of Maharashtra for an international NGO.
