Katie Naeve was a Research Manager at Evidence for Policy Design. She managed a portfolio of research projects and policy engagements focused on agriculture, gender, microfinance and global health. She also led EPoD's India Human Capital Initiative in partnership with the Center for Population and Development Studies at Harvard. Prior to joining CID, Katie was Policy Advisory at Oxfam America for an agricultural insurance and climate adaptation project for smallholder farmers in Africa. She also served as Colombia Country Manager for the social enterprise Instiglio. Katie has researched, implemented and evaluated a variety of economic development and social justice programs with CID, UNICEF South Asia, UNOHCHR Colombia, UNDP, Human Rights Watch, and the National Democratic Institute in Morocco. Katie is on the board of directors for Breath of Life, a non-profit in Senegal that provides economic and social opportunities to marginalized women, a mentor of young social entrepreneurs with the Resolution Project, and a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for underserved Boston youth. Katie holds an MPP from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and BAs in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Kansas.
