Giorgia Barboni was a visiting scholar at Harvard Kennedy School. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa (Italy), in 2012. She has recently held a position as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow in Economics at Trinity College Dublin. Her research focused on Development Finance, Experimental Economics and Financial Intermediation. Her work analysed the role of financial constraints on MSMEs’ growth in India. She was involved in a number of projects in India, Bangladesh, Italy, and Kenya.
